Dear Thorsten,
As someone who has just become involved with bird feeding/watching this past year.......I absolutely love this image and poem. I am taking the BYW Class and this is my first time on your blog and I am mesmerized. It is absolutely beautiful - the poetry and the images. I have to add you to my blogroll ......this is such a graceful delight.
Thank you......can't wait to peruse all of it.
Best wishes,
Sondra

The last few photos you have of wintry forests are breathtaking. Wonderful!

Thank you Juliette. When we were living in New Hampshire we had a bird feeder for small birds attached to our living room window. It was a busy place year round as we had plenty of finches and sparrows behind the house. We even had a woodpecker try to land on the feeder once. He could barely hang on to the small construction but did manage to pick out a few seeds. It was pretty amusing watching him.
We do miss the feeder in our new place but we've been thinking of putting one outside the bedroom window.

I like how your words flit and fly like the birds themselves! We've been enjoying these same birds off our balcony. I'll have to show this one to my husband, we love 'our' birds =)
