  • Absolutely love this poem and photo. Have you thought of publishing a book or at least a calendar of your work? Would love to see you do that.….just wonderful.

  • Dear Sondra, thank you very much for your kind comments and encouragement. I can say that for years, even decades (ever since I was a child) I have been imagining publishing my writings (and to a certain degree I did when I worked as a freelance journalist). So far I have never seriously and consequently pursuit it though, I have been somewhat stuck at the “one day, when…, I will get serious about it”. But a comment like yours certainly makes me stop and ask “What ‘when’ am I waiting for?”. And I never thought about a calendar, that’s certainly an interesting idea. Thank you again and I hope you have pleasant time in the BYW class.

  • Hi Thorsten,
Another thought is printing the image on cards with the poetry inside (on the right side). I am checking in as often as possible and plan to read the previous pages.….I am amazed at your work and am spreading the word. I could also see your work printed and made available for mixed media artists/scrapbookers, in addition to quilters — having a CD available whereby they can print your work on fabric and use it in their quilts. Your work is so incredible, there are many places for it to be appreciated by others. Now you have got another company!
    Best to you,
    Sondra
    BTW, BYW is wonderful.….…

  • Thank you Sondra, your comment really made my day, or better night here. I have to say I feel rather invigorated now, those are some really interesting ideas, thank you so much. It’s really nice to have someone like you stop by and provide some really valuable input, much appreciated (and definitely much to think about now). One thing I have been considering is a photo book with my poems accompanied by music I compose. I actually released a CD three years back, something I called a “Musicnovel”, a sort of Soundtrack that tells a story. It was produced in very limited quantities so it’s out of print right now but I’d like to pick up on such a project again and combine it all into an inspirational package.
I am glad you enjoy the class, there is a lot more good stuff to come and I am standing by to provide further technical assistance. I’ll probably write a post on BYW towards the end of the class, focused on the technical aspects of blogging.
Have good day/night and thank you again.

  • A photo book.…what a creative and unique idea…that would be a great gift item. It is difficult to come up with something that is different these days, but that sure is. I hope that you persue that in the future — poetry, music, images…very unique and interesting combination.
Have a good evening, hello to Holly.
