Hence I look again, once more

In a mirror across the street
I see reflections
Of life in light so bright
Wondering
Do I gaze upon the picture right
Or is it left that's on the other side?
Should I focus on distorted lines
Or on those colorful designs?
Is there really any gain
Or do I look in vain?
What would life be
If everything I see
Was by distorted mirror's sheen?
Could my judgment ever be keen
Or would many things be left unseen?
Hence I look again, once more
And here for sure
I suddenly see such beautiful thing
As lilac blossoming in spring
How could I not see, how could I miss?
Upon this lesson I shall reminisce
