Grey days, miserable light, the world turned ugly.
I retreat to the white room deep inside.
In the corner, a fountain of inspiration.
In front, a seat of revelation.
Silence, pure light, geometric harmony.
Sitting down, a book of blank pages in my hands.
The fountain comes to life.
Words spring forth
Marching like ants across the floor
Up the chair, across my arms.
An army a myriad syllables strong
Falling into formation – words, sentences, paragraphs.
Stories emerge of days bright, beautiful light, a marvelous sight.
And back there, then, a voice whispers “Enjoy the silence”.
